Kerry to build Centre of Excellence

Kerry are to become the latest county to develop a Centre of Excellence.

The county board have received the go-ahead from club delegates to purchase 48 acres of land at Currans, near Currow, for the project.

Work will begin as soon as the Kerry county board gets formal approval from Croke Park.

The project, which is expected to get under way early in the New Year, will be part-funded by the Munster Council and Croke Park.
