Kilkenny crush Galway

Kilkenny qualified for the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship final with a 5-19 to 0-15 win over Galway at Croke Park.

First-half goals from Cillian Buckley, Michael Brennan and John Power helped Kilkenny to a 3-9 to 0-10 interval lead, with Shane Moloney keeping Galway in touch with five points, before he was forced to retire injured.

The young Cats added further goals in the second half through Ger Aylward and Kevin Kelly on their way to a landslide win by 19 points.
