Kirwan hails Nemo bravery

Nemo Rangers manager Eddie Kirwan hailed the bravery of his players after they emerged victorious by two points in a dramatic Munster Club Football Championship final.

Dr Crokes of Kerry came from 13 points behind, but the Cork men held on for a two-point success

"They put their bodies on the line, and we got over the winning line," Kirwan told TG4.

"It was what we expected but now the way we expected it. We were superb in the first half, they were superb in the second half."

And he admitted he was deeply concerned when Crokes staged a rousing second half comeback, hitting seven points on the spin.

"It was worrying, there's no two ways about it. They were two different halves, and we just came out better."
