Limerick lose key pair

Published 12/01/2011

New Limerick football manager Maurice Horan has received a double blow, with the loss of two important players.

Wing forward Padraig Browne and goalkeeper Conor Ranahan both plan to spend the year in Australia.

Limerick, who will play in Division Three of the NFL this season, will have their first competitive game on Sunday when they meet All-Ireland champions Cork in the McGrath Cup quarter-final.
