London secure Connacht title

London created a shock with their first Connacht SFC victory in 36 years.

There were wild scenes of celebration at Ruislip as the Exiles got the better of Sligo by 1-12 to 0-14, with Lorcan Mulvey hitting the all-important goal in the first half.

All-Ireland champions Donegal got the better of Tyrone in Ulster, winning by 2-10 to 0-10

Goals from Colm McFadden and Ross Wherity saw the Sam Maguire Cup holders through after a shaky start.

Louth shocked Laois at Portlaoise, winning comfortably by 1-16 to 1-6 in the Leinster SFC.

Shane Lennon cracked in a first half goal and Brian White shot seven points, with Padraig McMahon grabbing a late consolation goal for Laois.

Kerry were in dominant form in their 2-19 to 0-8 Munster SFC win over Tipperary, with Darran O'Sullivan and James O'Donoghue netting their goals.
