Tipperary midfielder Brendan Maher will be fit for the All-Ireland SHC final against Kilkenny on Sunday, despite suffering an injury scare at the weekend.
He injured his wrist on Saturday during a team session. But it has been confirmed that the problem is not serious and will not rule him out of the decider against the champions.
Kilkenny have also received positive news, with defender John Tennyson reporting no ill-effects from a training session after intensive treatment on a cruciate ligament injury.
