Armagh manager Peter McDonnell knows that he must strengthen his defence for Sunday’s National League tie against Monaghan.
And for that reason he’s more than delighted that Andy Mallon (pictured) could be in the starting frame.
An arm injury has kept the experienced Pearse Og clubman sidelined for several weeks but having made an appearance as a substitute in the recent defeat to Laois, Mallon is ready for full-scale action again.
And there is also the prospect that Brendan Donaghy could return to the side..
