McEnaney set for Meath role

Former Monaghan football boss Seamus McEnaney is expected to be appointed as Meath's new manager on Wednesday night.

It's understood the selection committee has recommended him to the Meath management committee, and his name will be put before club delegates for ratification.

If appointed, he will be the first Royal manager to come from outside the county.

McEnaney's proposed management team includes former Meath star Liam Harnan, as well as Paul Grimley and Martin McElkennon, who assisted him in Monaghan.
