McGee ruled out for season

Sligo attacker Colm McGee is likely to miss the entire season due to a shoulder injury.

McGee, who was a revelation in his first year for the Yeatsmen in 2010, has had surgery, and faces between six and eight months on the sidelines.

He picked up the injury last August, but continued to play, unaware of the severity of the problem.

Meanwhile, Waterford veteran Stephen Cunningham has retired from inter-county football.
