Tyrone's Joe McMahon could be back in action much sooner than anticipated.
He had been expected to miss the entire Ulster Football Championship after suffering a double jaw fracture in a club game.
But manager Mickey Harte has revealed that the utility man could be back as early as the Ulster semi-final, should the Red Hands get past Monaghan in their first round tie.
"The good news is that Joe is recovering, and will be back at some stage of the season, whether it be in the Ulster semi-final, or a Qualifier game," said Harte.
The treble All-Ireland winning manager described the loss of McMahon as "as big as it gets".
