Monaghan into final

Monaghan defeated Galway by 0-16 to 0-11 to qualify for the All-Ireland Ladies senior football final.

Cathriona McConnell was their scoring star, with a seven points tally, six of which came from frees.

The Ulster side led by 0-6 to 0-4 at half-time, and defended superbly in the face of a Galway revival, to book a final meeting with either Cork or Kerry.
