Morgan lauds Kerrigan influence

Nemo Rangers captain Brian Morgan has paid tribute to the influence of Cork star Paul Kerrigan in their run to the Munster Club SFC final.

Kerrigan scored seven points in their 1-12 to 1-5 semi-final win over Stradbally of Waterford, setting up a meeting with Dr Crokes of Kerry in the decider.

"Paul is having a fantastic season for us. He has done of for Cork this year with his runs, and he does the same for us as well," said Morgan.

"He's a fantastic player and we're happy that he's wearing a Nemo jersey.

"Stradbally were very tough. They showed that they were good champions of Waterford, and they made it a game for us in the second half. We got a good start with a goal and a point but they came right back at us."
