O'Grady to step down

Donal O'Grady has announced he is stepping down as Limerick hurling manager.

O'Grady had completed a one year term, after taking on the job last September.

The former Cork boss presided over an upturn in fortunes for the Treaty county, and it is understood the county board was keen to retain his services.

But, having made it clear from the outset that he planned to take the job for just one season, O'Grady has stuck to his word.
