Ger O'Loughlin has been reappointed Clare hurling manager for a second season.
O'Loughlin, nicknamed 'Sparrow', replaced Mike McNamara last December, but failed to guide the Banner County to promotion from the NHL's Division Two.
An All-Ireland winner as a player in 1995 and '97, O'Loughlin has been given a further 12-month term by the county board.
This year, his new-look Clare side ran Waterford close in the Munster Championship but later suffered a heavy defeat to Dublin in the All-Ireland Qualifiers.
