Rogers doubtful for semi-final

Down captain Ambrose Rogers is facing a race against time to be fit for the All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Kildare on August 29.

The midfielder sustained a knee injury during a club championship game last weekend, and is in danger of missing what would be the biggest game of his career to date.

The Down county board released a statement saying the 25-year-old midfielder will undergo a scan in the coming days.
