Donegal head to a five-day training camp in Tenerife on St Valentine's Day sitting top of Division One.

Rory Gallagher's team dominated Cork in soaking Ballyshannon.

Martin O'Reilly's composed finish in the 13th minute was followed by a second goal from the excellent Odhran Mac Niallais in the 53rd minute as Donegal cruised to their second win from their opening two games.

"That's uncharted territory for us over the last few years, but it's pleasing to have two wins on the board heading into the break," Gallagher said.

"The biggest thing is that we're heading away there in a good frame of mind."

O'Reilly played a neat one-two with Eoin McHugh before slotting home the opening goal.

Cork hit back and when Donal Og Hodnett cracked past Peter Boyle, the visitors had hope.

Donegal regrouped and led 1-9 to 1-3 at the break with Mac Niallais swinging over a pair of majestic points.

It was game, set and match when Mac Niallais brilliantly converted and dominant Donegal eased to an impressive victory.
