Shefflin back in training

Kilkenny ace Henry Shefflin could yet play a part in the All-Ireland SHC final, after making a sensational return to training.

Shefflin, who ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in the semi-final three weeks ago, took a full part in a session at Nolan Park.

Following intensive treatment with renowned physio Ger Hartman in Limerick, he appears to have made a miraculous recovery.

Now he is set to play a part in the Cats' bid for an historic five-in-a-row of titles when they face Tipperary on September 5.
