Tipp ease past Waterford

Tipperary set up a repeat of last year's All-Ireland hurling final with a comfortable 3-19 to 1-18 win over Waterford.

After the sides were level five times in the opening quarter, Lar Corbett grabbed a 23rd minute goal and Noel McGrath notched his fourth point to give Tipp a 1-11 to 0-8 half-time lead.

Eoin Kelly's 53rd minute goal extended the advantage to eight points, and it was all over for Waterford when Kelly made sure of a title-deciding clash with champions Kilkenny with his second goal 10 minutes from the end. Substittue Eoin McGrath hit a consolation goal in the dying moments
