Tyrone Cup clash off

Tyrone's Dr McKenna Cup tie against UUJ, due to have been played on Wednesday evening at Healy Park, has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

The Ulster Council conducted a pitch inspection at the Omagh venue and declared the pitch unplayable.

No new date has been set for the tie. The Red Hands will now play their opening game in the competition on Sunday against Donegal, having had all three of their games to date called off.

Two were postponed because of weather conditions, the other due to the tragic death of Michaela McAreavey, daughter of manager Mickey Harte.
