Ulster final still in doubt

The Ulster Club football final could be postponed for a third time after a pitch inspection on Friday failed to confirm that the St Tiernach's Park pitch will be playable for Sunday's title shoot-out between Crossmaglen and Glenties.

Another inspection of the Clones venue will take place on Saturday morning, when provincial officials are hopeful that they will be able to give the go-ahead for the senior and junior deciders.

The JFC final between Monaghan's Corduff and Swanlinbar of Cavan is due to be played as a curtain-raiser.

And the IFC final, in which Lisnaskea of Fermanagh are due to play Doohamlet of Monaghan on Saturday, is also subject to a second pitch inspection.
