Venue change for Ulster Club final

Published 10/12/2010

The Ulster Club football final between Crossmaglen and Glenties is to go ahead on Sunday, but has been switched from Clones to Kingspan Breffni Park in Cavan.

A pitch inspection at St Tiernach's Park cleared the surface for action, but frozen water systems at the stadium have forced Ulster Council officials to move the senior and junior finals to neighbouring Cavan.

The Junior final between Corduff of Monaghan and Swanlinbar of Cavan will start at 12.15, while the senior decider throws in at 2pm.

It will be a busy weekend for Breffni Park which will also host the Ulster IFC final between Lisnakea of Fermanagh and Monaghan champions Dopohamlet on Saturday.
