Walsh: Kilkenny will be champions

Cork manager Denis Walsh believes Kilkenny will go on and win a record-breaking fifth successive All-Ireland hurling title.

After watching the Cats hand out a heavy semi-final beating to his team, Walsh concluded that neither Tipperary or Waterford can stop the champions in next month's decider.

Asked if he could see Kilkenny being denied this year's title, he said: "Truthfully, I don't."

Walsh added: "Tipperary and Waterford will take a bit out of each other next week, I'm sure, and whoever comes through will relish the challenge. But we relished the challenge and we fell well short."
