Wexford claim senior title

Wexford won their fifth All-Ireland Senior Camogie title with a 1-12 to 1-10 win over Galway at Croke Park.

Katrina Parrock's 30th minute goal and three Ursula Jacob points helped Wexford take a 1-8 to 0-4 lead into the interval.

Aisling Connolly's accuracy from frees kept Galway in touch, but Jacob brought her tally to six, and Connolly's goal, direct from a free, came too late to save the westerners.
