Modest! Golf Management and One Direction star Niall Horan will play a key role in the Northern Ireland Open at Galgorm Castle Golf Club in July.

The company, of which Horan is a director, will be the official partners for the tournament.

Horan said the business was focused on helping the next generation of golfing talent.

"You only need to look at the history of the Challenge Tour to see the calibre of player it produces," he said.

We are hugely excited to be official partners to the NI Open."

Mark McDonnell, Director of Modest! Golf Management, said: "Modest Golf are delighted to be working with the Challenge Tour and Galgorm on this event.

"We are excited to come to Northern Ireland; a country that continues to produce some of the best players in the world."

The action, which gets under way from July 28 to 31, promises to be another exciting event attracting huge crowds.
