Irish Open: Gareth and Adam's betting tips for the tournament at Portstewart GC

By Gareth Hanna and Adam McKendry

Well here are the two players you should stay away from - now that we've jinxed them anyway.

GARETH'S PICK - PAUL DUNNE

With a 65 on Sunday in France and a positive display in the Pro Am, he's bound to be in with a shout. And he was on hand at the Media Day a few weeks ago, playing down the 12th with each and every fourball. If he doesn't know the line of every putt on that green by now, he never will.

ODDS: The good news? His odds are favourable. He's out at 33/1. Well worth a punt.

ADAM'S PICK - JON RAHM

The big swinging Spaniard is making only his second appearance on the European Tour, but made a big impact last week by finishing in the top 10 at the Open de France. A contender for The Open, Rahm will hope to have a big result here as a confidence boost, and he has the game to contend.

ODDS: A safer bet but still would yield a good return at 12/1.
