Ireland's Damien McGrane dropped out of contention at the Joburg Open as he was four over for his third round when play was abandoned for the day.

McGrane was 10 shots off the pace on five under when officials called an early halt to play for the second consecutive day.

England's Richard Finch chipped in for an eagle three on the eighth hole as he maintained his challenge.

Finch was tied for the lead on 15 under par with home golfer Branden Grace when the day's play was suspended as heavy storms hit the East Course of the Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club.
