Amateur record: Won world under-10 title in US. Won Irish Close and West of Ireland championships twice; won European championship 2006; world ranked No 1 in spring of 2007; shot course-record 61 at Royal Portrush; played against US in Walker Cup at Royal Co Down.

Professional record: Turned pro in September 2007 with Chubby Chandler stable; third in second tournament played at St Andrews, and fourth in Madrid next time out.
