Tiger Woods has enjoyed a couple of hassle-free practice days at Augusta
But one woman spectator was not quite so lucky.
Reports have emerged of an incident on Monday which apparently saw one of Woods' private security guards approaching a crowd member on the fifth tee and asking her: “Ma'am, are you the stripper?” He then pulled out a sheet of colour mug-shots of Woods' mistresses.
One of them, Joslyn James, a porn star, has threatened to turn up this week to confront Woods.
When the security guard realised this was not her, he told the stunned woman: “We've just got to be extra careful.”
Meanwhile the Masters field was reduced to 96 players when 67-year-old Raymond Floyd, winner in 1976 and loser in a play-off to Nick Faldo 20 years ago, announced the end of his career.
Unlike Gary Player and Fuzzy Zoeller, who made a farewell appearance last year, Floyd has decided not to do a lap of honour.
Floyd has not made the halfway cut since 1999.
“Last year was my last Masters. I'm not competing this year,” he said. “I'm not competitive now and I didn't want to go out and embarrass myself.”
