US Open 2017: Round one and two tee-times and when does UK TV coverage begin?

Where and when can I watch the US Open in the UK?

By Gareth Hanna

Rory McIlroy will be playing live on Sky Sports this evening as he begins his US Open campaign at 8.09 BST.

Two Northern-Irishmen are in the field and the good news for viewers is they are at opposite ends of the draw, so your attention need not be divided.

Graeme McDowell begins his opening round at 2.02pm BST. Once he's finished, you have time to grab your dinner before Rory makes his much-anticipated return at 8.09pm BST in the two-tee start.

On Friday, Rory will be out at 2.24pm BST with Graeme following at 7.47pm BST.

Paul Dunne will be the first Irishman on the tee. He begins his tournament at 1.18pm BST on Thursday and tees off at 7.03pm BST on Friday evening. Shane Lowry is also in the field, he is just one group ahead of Rory McIlroy, beginning at 7.58pm BST on Thursday and at 2.13pm BST on Friday.

WHERE AND WHEN CAN I WATCH THE ACTION?

Sky Sports will be showing all four days of action. Their coverage begins each day from 6pm BST on Sky Sports 4 but you can also watch the featured groups from 1.30pm on Thursday and Friday.
