The home side secured a 7-3 aggregate win in Belfast over two legs in the quarter-finals of the play-offs.
It looked like it was all going wrong for the Giants, as Hull opened the scoring.
Two goals from Carl Lauzon saw the side take a surprise 2 - 0 lead.
But Colin Shields put the first point on the board, with a second from Kevin Saurette followed by a Darryl Lloyd closer helping tie up the Giants' loose ends.
