Nottingham Panthers forward Matthew Myers is facing a suspension following an incident during his team's 3-2 win over the Belfast Giants last Saturday night.

Giants management have asked the Elite League's Department of Player Safety to review the footage of a collision between Myers and Chris Higgins, which happened just after the Giants forward had scored a goal to tie the game up at 2-2.

The Giants want the DOPS to determine whether Myers was guilty of a late hit.

Meanwhile, the dates for the Giants' Challenge Cup quarter-final tie with Manchester Storm have been confirmed.

The first leg in Altrincham will be played on Wednesday, January 20, with the return meeting in Belfast on Tuesday, January 26.
