Injured Cooper out for season

Kerry star Colm Cooper has been ruled out for the rest of the season after a scan confirmed he has suffered a cruciate ligament rupture

He suffered the injury while playing for Dr Crokes in the All-Ireland Club SFC semi-final against Castlebar on Sunday.

He is to undergo surgery later this month, and faces a lengthy spell of recovery and rehab.
