Jeff Dimmen on target again as Nottingham Panthers top Belfast Giants

Jeff Dimmen scored his second goal in as many days as Nottingham Panthers won the second game of their double-header with Belfast Giants.

After Belfast's James Desmarais had cancelled out Steve Lee's first-period goal, Dimmen restored Nottingham's one-goal advantage in the middle of the second period.

The hosts levelled things up in the third period through Chris Higgins before Juraj Kolnik scored to ensure the Panthers took two points back to Nottingham.

Michael Dorr netted a brace as Fife Flyers recorded a 5-3 victory over Dundee Stars, while Guillaume Doucet scored the winner just over two minutes into overtime as Cardiff Devils clinched a 1-0 victory over Braehead.

Elsewhere Russ Cowley and Brett Robinson scored in the third period as Coventry Blaze secured a 2-0 win over Sheffield Steelers.
