Busy Carroll gets the call to steer Ferrari to success at Silverstone
Adam Carroll is rapidly becoming the "go to" driver in British GT racing.
Less than a fortnight ago he substituted for Lamborghini factory driver Fabio Babini in the Barwell Motorsport team at Oulton Park and won alongside Liam Griffin.
Tomorrow Carroll switches to Ferrari and will drive the latest 488 GT3 version, partnering Marco Attard in the FF Corse team in the Silverstone 500 race.
The former A1GP champion from Portadown, who is also driving a Gulf Porsche in the European Le Mans series, is no stranger to Ferraris or the FF Corse team having driven a number of rounds in last year's British GT series.
"He came highly recommended," said former champion Attard.
Garry Jennings was expected to get a pre-Donegal International shakedown run on today's Mourne Rally.
"This is a good opportunity to get some miles under my belt," he said.
