Jamie Hamilton is the proud new leader of the Duke Road Race Rankings going into the Vauxhall International North West 200.
The KMR Vauxhall Kawasaki team rider took the lead after the Around-A-Pound Tandragee 100 Road Races last Saturday.
Despite an impressive double by Michael Dunlop – his second in seven days – Hamilton's victory in the Supertwins race, his second in a week, plus a pair of sixth places in the Supersport and Open races put the youngster 48 points ahead of the Ballymoney man.
Michael Pearson is in third.
Ryan Farquhar is a seven-time winner of the Duke Award so how fitting if his protégé Hamilton could collect it too.
