A new Superbike race sponsor has joined the list of North West backers, quite literally guaranteeing fans a grandstand finish.
Yorkshire and Co Dublin based events specialist company EventServ are providing race organisers Coleraine MC with London 2012 Olympic grandstands and has agreed a three year contract to support the first Superbike race.
Dungannon builders the McAvoy group will continue their lengthy year association with the North West by again adding their name to the second Superbike race, the last of the day on May 21.
Steve Harper, company group sales and marketing manager, said: “As a race sponsor we’re now in our fourth year and we’re pleased to continue our support of this superb event.”
Director Paul Griffin of Eventserv added: “We’re delighted to have secured a three year contract with North West organisers and our sponsorship marks the official launch of the Eventserv brand in Northern Ireland which coincides with the opening of our Belfast office in early May.”
The race programme is currently being finalised by Careva Publishing of Newtownards.
“Our programme is part of the heritage of the event as well as being our key source of income and the Coleraine Club would urge all fans and visitors to purchase one,” said Race Director Mervyn Whyte.
Also available from website, www.northwest200.org, are newly launched F1 style hospitality packages.
This year’s revamped VIP venue features a traditional marquee coupled with a Giant Expo area with soft seating and bar areas and tickets costing £160 which include all day refreshments with waitress service, music and entertainment, large screens to see the Race Day action close-up, al fresco viewing area and complimentary programme and paddock pass.
