Meeke challenge ends 

Kris Meeke was too upset to even talk about it. His Rally Ireland dream which had started so promisingly beneath the blazing arc lights at Stormont on Thursday night effectively ended in a Sligo field yesterday.

Gronholm crashes in Rally Ireland 

World championship leader Marcus Gronholm was taken to hospital today after crashing on the second day of Rally Ireland.

Tonight is the night. Up to 10,000 spectators are due to pack the grounds of Stormont and 120 million more are expected to tune in on television for the first stage of Rally Ireland which starts in Belfast.
