Rutter splits from NW team

Michael Rutter, 12 times winner of the NW 200 is no longer associated with the bike named after the race.

A statement from the Rob McElnea, manager of the Yamaha team, said that the rider and the team had parted company and that a new name as a replacement would be known shortly.

On Saturday at the NW Rutter finished 11th in the Superbike race and seventh in the Supersport.
