Nottingham Panthers move top of Elite League

Nottingham Panthers moved top of the Elite League standings following a 4-3 victory over previous leaders Belfast Giants.

Robert Lachowicz, David Ling, Ollie Betteridge and Evan Mosey scored for the Panthers, with Kris Beech (two) and Mike Radja replying for the Giants.

Cardiff Devils are level on points with Nottingham after they recorded a 5-2 win over Manchester Storm.

Andrew Lord scored a pair of goals for Cardiff, with Josh Batch, Guillaume Doucet and Leigh Salters also on target.

Two goals from Robert Dowd led Sheffield Steelers to a 4-2 win over Dundee Stars, while Ryan Dingle's brace and four points from Justin Fox guided Fife Flyers to an 8-3 win over Edinburgh Capitals.

Scott Pitt found the net twice and Chris Holt turned away 26 shots for a shutout in Braehead Clan's 6-0 triumph over Coventry Blaze.
