Boris Johnson ran into trouble today after getting stuck on a zip wire while celebrating Team GB's first Olympic gold.
The madcap mayor waved union flags after coming to a halt during the stunt at London's Victoria Park and joked "This is great fun but it needs to go faster."
One onlooker said: "Boris probably hoped he'd look like James Bond in the opening ceremony but unfortunately it was a lot more like Mr Bean."
Johnson, already well-known for zany antics, has attracted attention from the mayor of Rio, Eduardo Paes, whose city is set to hold the 2016 Olympics.
Paes recently said he is afraid the London mayor will "do something crazy when he hands over the flag" at the end of the current Olympic Games.
"He's crazy," said Paes.
