No rest for the wicket as Tele XI take on Donaghadee in charity clash

Charity match between Belfast Telegraph and Donaghadee in aid of NI Childrens Hospice. July 2011
A Belfast Telegraph XI took on a Donaghadee CC XI at the weekend in a charity cricket match at Northfield, in aid of the NI Childrens Hospice.
Fielding first, the Tele team, led by captain Jordie McCluskey, managed to restrict Donaghadee to the total of 145. Mark Reilly, the pick of the BT players taking three wickets and two superb catches.
There were also wickets for Andrew Armstrong, Sam McIlveen and Colin Maxwell, while Johnny McIntyre performed heroically behind the stumps as wicket keeper.
The best of the Donaghadee batsmen were Richie Carson, Brian Shaw and Phil McNamara
Chasing 146 to win, theTele fell narrowly short by 23 runs, finishing on 122 after the 20 overs - Colin McKee, Mark Reilly, Sam McIlveen and Andrew Armstrong all performing admirably with the bat for the Belfast team while Niall McEvoy and Trevor Shaw excelled with the ball for Donaghadee.
