£1500 up for grabs in Seeley Cup race

The Seeley Cup 10k Road Race is open for entries and competitors are being told get their name down early for this year’s event.

Podium 4 Sport are delighted to announce their lead sponsorship deal with Athletics Northern Ireland and Willowfield Harriers for the event which will take place on Saturday week in Ormeau Park, Belfast.

There is a total prize fund of over £1500 and many of Northern Ireland’s top road racers will be in action including Brian Campbell, Alan McCullough, Cathy McCourt and Karen Alexander.

The organisers had to close the entries early in 2009 due to the high numbers that entered but the course in Ormeau Park has been amended to cater for just over 1000 runners.

The closing date for entries is Monday November 22 over 500 have already secured their place
