Boxing: Jamie Conlan savouring Ulster Hall showdown with Kyle King
Belfast’s Jamie Conlan will face Welshman Kyle King on the undercard of Carl Frampton’s clash with Yuriy Voronin at the Ulster Hall on September 18.
And 23-year-old Conlan believes the contest on the Barry McGuigan promoted bill will help propel his career to the next level.
“I love the Ulster Hall,” he said. “I boxed there three times and won three times.
“I’ve also been to lots of fights there as a fan.
“It is so compact, the crowd is right on top of the action which is brilliant.
“I’m getting my tickets this week so I’m hoping to have a lot of people there supporting me.
“The atmosphere is going to be brilliant because at shows like this people are in their seats for the whole card and not just the main event.”
The bill will be topped by Carl Frampton’s clash with Yuriy Voronin and also features Prizefighter Winner Willie ‘Big Bang’ Casey, Stephen Haughian, Ryan Greene, Troy James and Chris Keane.
Tickets are available, priced £55, £45, £35, £30 from the Box Office on (028) 90334455 or by logging on to www.ulsterhall.co.uk.
