Carl Frampton will have the biggest fight of his career when he clashes with Mexican Hugo Cazarez at the Odyssey Arena on April 4.
The fight between Ulsterman Frampton and former WBA Super Flyweight champion Cazarez is a world title eliminator with the winner expected to go straight for a shot at WBC super-bantamweight champion Leo Santa Cruz in the summer.
Unbeaten Belfast man Frampton relinquished his European and Commonwealth titles last year to focus on world honours, with bitter rival Kiko Martinez, the IBF champion who he knocked out last year in a European title fight, his main target.
But despite offering the Spaniard a highly lucrative offer for a re-match in the Odyssey, Martinez turned it down in favour of a title defence in Japan.
WBA regular champion Scott Quigg was also a target but that is now off the Belfast man's radar as he concentrates on defeating 35-year-old Cazarez and paving the way to a blockbuster clash with Santa Cruz.
