Iconic boxing venue, the Ulster Hall, will host the weigh-in for Belfast's biggest crowd-pulling title fight next month.
Home town hero Carl Frampton will come face-to-face with Spaniard Kiko Martinez on Friday, September 5, ahead of their IBF World Championship fight at the city's Titanic Quarter the following evening. And it will be open to the fans, 16,000 of whom will rock the slipways for the biggest fight attendance ever in Northern Ireland.
Admission to the Ulster Hall weigh-in is on a first come, first served basis.
It will be the climax of a week of events to mark the rich boxing history of the Bedford Street venue, including an evening with Barry McGuigan, the Frampton mentor and former World Champion turned promoter, who will relive some of his glittering boxing moments of the 1980's in a Wednesday, September 3 chat show in the hall.
In a new addition to the Frampton fight bill, McGuigan's Cyclone Promotions have announced that Dungiven's Eamonn O'Kane, the IBF number 10 ranked middleweight, will box Lithuania's experienced Virgilijus Stapulionis for the IBF Intercontinental Middleweight title.
