Lisnagarvey's new coach Mark Tumilty has got a triple boost ahead of the new season.
Tumilty, who took over the reins from Peter McCabe during the summer, will have two internationals back in the ranks after missing out last season, as well as a new signing from Cork.
Back into the Garvey squad comes Timmy Cockram and Mark Robinson while Under 21 star Jason Lynch has joined from Cork Harlequins, now that he is studying at the University of Ulster.
Cockram, of course, was part of Ireland's squad who took part in the Eurohockey Nations Cup in Manchester at the end of last month and will give the attack a much-needed boost.
Timmy was with Loughborough Students last season but returns home this term, although he's under the imposed rest on international players and won't be available until the end of this month.
Robinson, who spent a year out abroad, will play a key role in midfield while Lynch's silky skills will also torment a few defences.
Both Robinson and Lynch have already come under Ireland head coach Dave Passmore's attention, and indeed have been part of the Ireland Development Squad, which is essentially those on the fringe of making it into the senior squad.
Garvey began their build-up to the new Kirk Cup programme with two games against Scottish side Granite City last week and are scheduled to take in further games against newly promoted Mossley and Leinster side Fingal this weekend.
