The recent Ulster Secondary Schools Athletics Association championships at Antrim Forum were greatly boosted by the generous sponsorship provided by the Dairy Council for Northern Ireland.

Hundreds of budding athletes from across Ulster competed in the long-established championships which have been the launch pad for many of our international competitors.

Dr Mike Johnston, Chief Executive of the Dairy Council for Northern Ireland, said: "Congratulations to all participants who took part at this year's finals. We're delighted to be associated with the 'Milk It: Athletics'.

"We wanted to sponsor the championships as it has a natural fit with the range of activities we undertake in post primary schools throughout Northern Ireland.

"Our aim is to use our sponsorships to highlight the potential role of milk in sports nutrition," he added.
