Holders Dunbarton got their IBA Senior Cup defence off to the best possible start with a comprehensive win against Bray in the Dublin sunshine on Saturday.

The Gilford boys dramatically snatched the trophy from under the noses of Ballymena last August an epic final encounter.

Having passed their opening round test with distinction, Dunbarton will now face possibly their biggest obstacle in the form of Ballymena at Old Ballymoney Road on Saturday, June 4.

"I'm sure Ballymena will be looking for a bit of revenge, so it's something we must deal with," said Dunbarton's Andy Hughes.
