Irish title fights to the four in Stadium

Published 15/01/2010

Promoter Brian Peters will stage four Irish title fights on February 13 at the National Stadium in Dublin.

Cavan's Andrew Murray will defend his lightweight belt against Oisin Fagan, while for the first time in 13 years the Irish heavyweight title will be fought for when Coleman Barrett meets Colin Kenna.

The other two title fights will see Dublin featherweight Patrick Hyland defend against Mickey Coveney and Dubliner Anthony Fitzgerald meets Lee Murtagh for the vacant super-middleweight crown.

Belfast flyweight prospect Jamie Conlan is also on the show in a four rounder, having won on his debut in November at the Odyssey Arena.
