The Amateur League's Second Division finally got off the ground on Saturday and already some teams are making their presence felt in Division 2A.
There were wins for Derriaghy CC, Shankill United, Crumlin Star, Groomsport and Ardglass, with the only draw involving Newington Rangers and Ford (1-1).
The biggest scoreline in 2A came from Groomsport who knocked in four without reply at Dromore Amateurs.
Derriaghy grinded out a good win over Iveagh with Andrew Rosbotham getting both goals.
Shankill - formerly H & W Sport - got their first win under their new banner with a single goal success at Mossley YM.
Crumlin Star's win was at newly promoted Albion Star (4-3), while Ardglass will be pleased with their 2-0 home win over Ballywalter Rec.
Newly-promoted McQuiston Rec and relegated Newtownbreda are hoping to make an impact in 2B this season.
And both got on the goal trail nice and early, running up comfortable wins in the opening day of their season.
McQuiston beat Annalong Swifts 6-2 with Paul Stirling, Lee Finlay and Glenn Upton each bagging a brace.
Newtownbreda beat Kilroot Rec 5-1 with five different marksmen - Daniel Murphy, Jason Rutherford, Aaron Laird, Jay Floyd and Ian Magowan.
There were also victories for Grange Rangers, Bangor Rangers and 18th Newtownabbey OB, while Queen's Graduates and Rooftop battled it out in a 3-3 draw.
Grange's success came at Santos (2-1), Bangor's success came at home to Kircubbin (2-0), and the Newtownabbey men's success was against Bangor Swifts (2-0).
Bangor YM recorded the biggest win in 2C, with a 4-0 away win at East Down. And Carryduff got off the mark early when they beat Castle United 3-0.
Other winners were Kelvin OB - 2-1 win at 4th Newtownabbey OB, Finaghy by a similar scoreline at home to PSNI Olympic, Whitehead Eagles against Co Down Rangers (4-1) and Wesley over Crumlin Rec (4-1)
Drumbo and relegated Holywood Rec shared four goals.
